Charley Hope | {7 Months}

I know it's so cliché to say that each month has flown by but seriously it has.

And since you can barely read what that says:
First word "DaDa"
Can make kiss sound
scoots
shakes head no
loves to splash
sits up on her own

You work hard at the new house with Dad.

Your first time at beach.
Still not crawling.

You love to reach and grab bowl that your food is in.

You love your personalized Cora Bear.

You eat upside down.
5 oz every 3.5-4 hours with baby food to follow.

Sometimes you don't nap well and fall asleep while eating.
You sleep from 7-8 and 3 naps a day.

Your first taste of chicken.

8 and 3

Way in January I had a joined birthday party for the boys at a local jump house.

The boys were able to play before guests arrived.

They loved all their gifts.

Since we celebrated at 9 in the morning, we had Krispy Kreme donuts.

There were lots of donuts left over.

All the kids had a good time running around playing.

And I just love this picture of them waiting patiently to open their gifts. I mean, look at Rivers' hands!!

30

February 15, I turned 30 years young.
And my fantabulous friends threw me an 80's theme surprise party.  I was told this was a first birthday party from the invitation I received in the mail. They got me good. I had no idea. I think I went half the night in shock.
And now a few photos for your enjoyment.

INVITATION:

GLAMOUR SHOTS:

 PHOTOBOOTH FUN:

Props to my hubs-- he was fighting a sinus infection.
Funny story-- We were both really tired. I almost text the hostess without Dan knowing and to tell her we weren't coming. Can you imagine the panic? I laugh just thinking about it.

Boombox baby!!!

DECOR and SNACKS:

Pictures of me during my childhood

Rubix cubes and painted cassette tapes.

Pixie Sticks, Ring Pops, Fun Dip, colorful cupcakes and Nerds.
There was pizza and chips and dip but I didn't get a pic of all that. I didn't even eat.

Oh my gosh!! I had the best time and I have the bestest friends a girl could ask for!!
I am blessed!!

Charley Hope | {6 Months}

You had your 6 month shots and ran a small fever.
You are fighting your first cold.

You are still working on crawling and sitting up by yourself.
No rush.

You eat 5 oz every 3.5-4 hours.

You sleep from 7-7:30

Daddy loves to give you kisses.

Daddy said you look like a pin up girl in the picture above.

You celebrated your first Valentine's Day.

You can't get enough of our two new dogs.

You love being outside.
(I think you look like me in that picture.)

Slow down growing sissy!!

Charlye Hope | {5 Months}

We bought you a carrier and you love it.

You are a cat napper.

You kick your legs when you eat and even whine when we are not fast enough getting you the next bite.

You are teething, but no teeth yet. Here is a picture of a hard day you had when your teeth were bothering you and you slept none.

THE day you turned 5 months old, you did this!! You still just scoot and roll everywhere. No crawling yet.

You are cold natured like your Mama.  When we took you outside to take this picture you cried as soon as we walked outside.

You may possibly be closer to 20 pounds.
You have rolls for days and even cankles.
You are the only one of your siblings that has a visible birth mark.

Sweet Potatoes-- left
Avacados-- top right
Carrots-- bottom right

You always turn around in your bouncy and swing.
You woke up from your nap today and it was like looking at a mini me!

Kasen Rivers | {Three years old}

My redemption baby!
Another proof from God that His timing is always perfect!!
Rivers was due January 22, 2011-- one year to the day that Adyson had passed away. He was born January 21.
His birth made that one year of Adyson gone a little easier.

A few more things I wanna remember--

He is a little OCD like me. He likes things to be lined up and if a door or drawer is open he immediately shuts it.

He said he wants to "grow up with Konner so I can ride the bus and go to school with him."

When he asks if he can do something (watch tv, have a snack) and we tell him yes, he says, "You tell me I can, Mommy, you tell me?"

Terrible threes are amongst us.

He loves to sing.

He absolutely adores Konner. He is always asking to go get him from school so that they can play.

He loves Charley too. He always wants to give her a hug and kiss before she takes a nap. He has even asked me to wake her up so he can. He loves to hold her.

Listening to him pray is precious to my heart. He even prays for Adyson.

He loves bedtime stories.

He sometimes gets his -r sound mixed up with -l  ex. riving room

We love you Rivers!! And are so glad God gave you to us.

4 years in Glory Land

The good Lord has had Adyson for 4 years today.

I'll never forget how I felt that day. She passed away and all I wanted to do was run (right after I threw up in the trash can). Run out of that hospital. Run and pack our things from the Ronald McDonald House. Get in the car and drive straight home. Run! Run! Run! As fast as I could away from the place my daughter had left me. Like leaving would somehow help how crushed my heart was. Like I could run away from how I was feeling. My heart would never heal. I was mad at God. I yelled at Him many times. How could He take my baby when so many were praying for her. I know He could work miracles. And what I didn't realize then, was that He did work miracles. He worked miracles THROUGH Adyson. Marriages were saved, lives were saved, hearts were softened, broken families came together because of this little girl who didn't speak one word. But I can tell you God spoke loud and clear through her. He used my daughter for His work and His glory. And I will always cherish and treasure that.

I'm brought back to a verse God showed me after she passed away 1 Peter 5:10-11 says, "Now the God of all grace, who called you into His glory will personally restore, establish, strengthen, and support you after you have suffered a little while. The dominion belongs to Him forever."

He has done all these things to me.
He is good!!
